The Rapid Solicitors Lions will feature for the first time this season on a Sky Sports channel with live coverage of their home fixture against the Eastbourne Eagles.
The meeting, which was originally scheduled for Thursday 24th July, will now take place at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium on Monday 14th July. "I am told by fans that in the last era of the Lions ATV and Central film crews were at Blackbird Road on occasions to film matches but they were not transmitted until the weekend. So this has to be a first for the club to have a meeting streamed live and we are all looking forward to putting on a good show for the viewers" explained the Lions Promoter David Hemsley.
The Lion Cubs National Trophy fixture at home against Mildenhall the day before will be re-arranged.
